Margarita Watermelon

This Margarita watermelon is one of my guilt pleasures during scorching days of summer. It’s a perfect recipe for watermelon and an crazy good dessert for small gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 watermelon, cut into triangles

  • 1 c. tequila

  • 1/4 c. freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 1/3 c. triple sec

  • 1/4 c. margarita salt, for garnish

  • Zest of 1 lime, for garnish

Directions

  • Spread slices of watermelon in a large dish or baking sheet.
  • Pour over tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Let it rest for 1 hour.
  • Combine salt and lime zest in a small plate.
  • Coat watermelon slices with salt mixture and serve.
