Monster Wedge Salad
Delicious and look super duper impressive, Monster Wedge Salad is now one of the most preferred food of my family. It’s suitable to make in spring, summer and autumn. Iceberg lettuce is cut into 4 wedges, generously drizzled with a flavorful dressing of Greek yogurt, sour cream, mayonnaise, blue cheese crumbles, balsamic vinegar, milk and Dash Worcestershire. The salad ends with sprinkles of bacon, eggs, tomatoes, extra blue cheese and chives on top. Who can resist it? I know that I can’t. Ingredients
- For Dressing
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
2 teaspoons white balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons milk
Dash Worcestershire
Salt & pepper to taste
- For Salad
1 iceberg lettuce, cut into 4 wedges
4 hard boiled eggs, chopped into pieces
1/3 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
10 grape tomatoes, sliced in half
Extra crumbled blue cheese
Chives for garnish
Directions
- Add all dressing ingredients in a bowl. Whisk well to combine and set aside.
- Arrange wedges of iceberg lettuce onto two dinner plates, cut side down.
- Drizzle generously with dressing.
- Top with bacon, eggs, tomatoes, extra blue cheese and chives. Serve!
