Ingredients

  • Taco Pie
  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 3 tbsp. Taco Seasoning

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Taco Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder

  • 1 tbsp. paprika

  • 1 tbsp. coarse salt

  • 1 tbsp. black pepper, ground

  • 2 tsps. ground cumin

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp dried oregano leaves

  • 1/4-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

  • To make Taco seasoning, gather all ingredients in a bowl. Stir to combine and set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a 9-inch glass or ceramic deep dish pie pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 7 minutes, until browned. Break up any clumps, using a wooden spoon.
  • Add taco seasoning and stir until combined. Spread beef mixture in greased pie pan.
  • Combine eggs, cream, and garlic in a bowl. Pour slowly over beef mixture in the pan. Sprinkle with shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes; until the center is set and the cheese is browned. Remove from and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • For the leftover, store in an airtight container and keep in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
