Creamy Shrimp Salad
I love shrimp much more than other types of seafood. The reason is simple. It’s easy to cook and contain a lot of nutritional values. Baked, grilled, stir-fried, stew, pasta or salad, shrimp does an excellent job. For instance, grilled shrimp and sausage skewers would be perfect for dinner during scorching days. Dipped into a flavorful sauce, they are crazy good. Yummy!
This post, however, aim to introduce creamy shrimp salad, one of the guilt pleasures of my family. Cooked shrimps are peeled then coated in the creamy mixture of add together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and dill. They come out, creamy, tasty and flavorful. My picky kids go crazy for them right with the first try.
Creamy shrimp salad may be served immediately or covered and chilled the fridge for a few hours. If you love shrimps, you should never miss this salad for meals. Tasty and ready in only 20 minutes, it has now become one of my family’s favorite food. I’m planning to serve it at weekend gathering to dazzle our guests. Can’t wait to see the reaction of our guests.

Ingredients
4 pounds shrimp, peeled
2 cups mayonnaise
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1 red onion, minced
3 stalks celery, minced
1 lemon cut into quarters
1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
2 tablespoons dill
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
- Bring 8 cups of water, added with salt and lemon to a boil.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove and place in ice water. Peel and place in a bowl.
- Gather mayonnaise, mustard, wine or vinegar, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, and dill in a large mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Add shrimp to creamy bowl. Stir in red onion and celery. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for a few hours. Enjoy!
