Ingredients
- Taco Pie
1 pound ground beef
3 tbsp. Taco Seasoning
6 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Taco Seasoning
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. coarse salt
1 tbsp. black pepper, ground
2 tsps. ground cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/4-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
- To make Taco seasoning, gather all ingredients in a bowl. Stir to combine and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease a 9-inch glass or ceramic deep dish pie pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 7 minutes, until browned. Break up any clumps, using a wooden spoon.
- Add taco seasoning and stir until combined. Spread beef mixture in greased pie pan.
- Combine eggs, cream, and garlic in a bowl. Pour slowly over beef mixture in the pan. Sprinkle with shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes; until the center is set and the cheese is browned. Remove from and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
- For the leftover, store in an airtight container and keep in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
