Indian Fried Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, shredded or finely chopped

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp paprika powder

  • 1 tbsp. coriander powder

  • 3/4 cup frozen or fresh green peas

  • 1 inch ginger, grated

  • 2 tbsp. oil

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Heat a pan with oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and ginger; stir fry for a minute.
  • Add cabbage, paprika, coriander powder and salt. Mix well and pour in 1/4 cup water.
  • Cover with a lid and cook for 8-10 minutes, until cabbage is fork tender.
  • Add green peas and cook for another minute or too. Serve immediately.
